Paul has been a radio producer for NPR, a business writer and columnist for the San Jose Mercury News, a barista, a teacher, and a project manager in a Silicon Valley research lab.
He is a Los Angeles Times prize-winning author and his books include When Can You Start? Ace the Job Interview and Get Hired and Fire in the Valley: The Birth and Death of the Personal Computer, which was made into the movie, The Pirates of Silicon Valley.
After writing thousands of resumes, Paul has found the real reward comes from setting people on a new trajectory that enables them to better provide for themselves and their loved ones.
